چکیده

Upon CO exposure to a Mo( 110) surface at 95 K, the initial ~0.3 monolayer (ML) of CO does not exhibit a vibrational frequency in the 1800-2200 cm-’ region, implying that the C-O axis is tilted with respect to the surface normal. Upon subsequent deposition of = 0.9 ML Cu at 95 Kfollowed by heating, infrared-reflection-adsorption-spectroscopy (IRAS) shows that a portion of the tilted CO molecules diffuses onto the Cu overlayer and assumes an upright bonding geometry, with the remainder dissociating on the MO{ 110) surface into atomic C and 0.

Accounting for secondary variable for the classification of mineral resources using co-kriging technique; a Case study of Sarcheshmeh porphyry copper deposit

Due to substantial effect of classification of resource models on future mine planning, one should come with an accurate method of estimation to guarantee that the minimum error is acquired in the estimation process. The known world class Cu-Mo deposit, Sarcheshmeh Porphyry deposit (central Iran) selected as the study area. The Hypogene zone of the deposit was chosen as the space in which estim...

The Effect of Different Additives and Medium on the Bioleaching of Molybdenite for Cu and Mo Extraction Using Mix Mesophilic Microorganism

Bioleaching processes for extraction of Cu and Mo from molybdenite cons. are more environmentally friendly and consume less energy than conventional technologies, yet less economically efficient. One necessary step towards arriving at a cost-effective bioleaching process is using appropriate methodology to optimize pertinent factors in such processes. To this end, the present study employed Res...

Mechano-chemical activation of MoO3-CuO/C powder mixture to synthesis nano crystalline Mo-Cu alloy

In this study, a high energy planetary ball milling technique was used to synthesize nano-crystalline Mo-Cu alloys. Molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) and copper oxide (CuO) were used as the starting materials. Carbo-thermal co-reduction of mixed Mo and Cu oxides powders was done with milling followed by a heat treatment at a high temperature. Differential thermal analysis/thermogravimetric (DTA/TG) wa...

Delineation of enriched zones of Mo, Cu and Re by concentration-volume fractal model in Nowchun Mo-Cu porphyry deposit, SE Iran

The purpose of this study is to identify the enriched zones of Cu, Mo and Re in Nowchun Mo-Cu porphyry deposit (SE Iran) based on subsurface data and using of concentration–volume (C–V) fractal model. The C-V model illustrates four and five geochemical zones based on Mo and Cu distributions respectively and there are three geochemical populations for Re. The main mineralization for Mo, Cu and R...

3D Zonation model of primary haloes and geochemical prospecting pattern of Aliabad Cu-Mo deposit, Yazd, Central Iran

In order to explore probable blind mineralized zones of the Aliabad deposit, it is necessary to evaluate the element concentrations towards depth or margins of the deposit. Modelling primary geochemical haloes could be useful in this stage. Ore bodies at the Aliabad deposit are primarily controlled by structural features, which provide an opportunity to investigate the zonality in primary halos...
